Beth Price with Snickers

Be There Pet Care was developed out of my love for animals and my experiences with lots of different animals my whole life through personal ownership.  Dogs, cats, birds, mice, bunnies, hamsters, fish, lizards, snakes, frogs ...you name it and I've probably had them...and sometimes all at the same time.  With each addition to our little menagerie I studied extensively in order to ensure the proper care and cohabitation for each one.  We're narrowed down now to dogs, cats,  fish and birds.

My professional background for 15 years was in the health care field, then in 2004 I moved on to business consulting - helping others realize their dreams of business ownership. Through my coaching and counseling of others I came to the realization that I needed to heed my own advice of finding a business that could be a passion!  I truly love interacting with animals and my own dream business was to include them in my work life every day.

Since that realization I have spent many many hours blending my professional experience with my personal experience and filling in the gaps with educational courses in:

• animal behavior
• health
• first aid
• nutrition and proper care 

I am a member of Pet Sitters International, Inc. and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and always strive to add to my knowledge with continuing education.  I am a PSI Accredited Pet Sitter.

I volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society - North Campus in Oceanside working with shelter dogs as a Canine Companion in offsite adoption events and local promotion.  I also foster dogs for local rescue Diamonds in the Ruff which removes animals on death row in high kill shelters and places them in foster homes until they can find a permanent loving home.  Walking, socializing and training are important in finding these misplaced animals stable homes where they can share companionship.  There are so many loving animals out there just waiting. 

Animals have always been important to me and I understand how much they mean to others so my mission is to provide the best loving personalized care while their owners are away and to provide services that can help keep animals and owners together in harmony with daily walking and playtime, pet taxi and supply delivery.
